About Ryan

Ryan Lewis (he/him) is the visionary founder and CEO of Integrative Wellness Programs and the author of our foundational coping skills program, The Answer To Adversity Program and eBook. He brings nearly two decades of experience as a counselor, counselor supervisor, mindfulness meditation teacher, and transformative guide and mental health coach across private practice, business, college, and community mental health settings. With more than 20,000 direct client hours, Ryan is a highly skilled and empathetic clinician committed to helping clients achieve their behavioral health, wellness, and life goals.

Ryan has had the privilege of working with top thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives at some of the most reputable companies in Seattle and Washington state, including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and more. Additionally, he has counseled and coached local performers and entertainers, as well as Division 1, amateur, semi-professional, and elite professional athletes. His experience with these high-performing individuals underscores his ability to support and elevate clients from all walks of life.

Ryan earned his Master’s degree (M.A.) in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and holds a B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of Brighton, England. In 2009, he established his private counseling and psychotherapy practice, and a decade later, he launched Integrative Wellness Programs to better meet the evolving needs of his clients by integrating traditional psychotherapy with structured coaching solutions and practices.

Ryan is passionate about mental health, proactive and preventative behavioral health, and lifestyle management. He emphasizes preventative health and wellness practices, combining critical insight and awareness skills with sustainable self-management tools to help clients manage life’s pressures and stressors while achieving their highest goals and dreams. His approach is transformative, focusing on helping clients develop skills and practices that foster a balanced and fulfilling life.

When not running his business, counseling or mentoring, or creating behavioral health content, Ryan enjoys traveling, boating, exploring the Pacific Northwest, gardening, entertaining, and cooking. He cherishes time spent at his cabin in the Cascades with his family and friends, his partner of 15 years, and their two dogs, Ollie and Blue. Ryan practices mindfulness meditation daily.
